Fresh and aromatic homemade sambar masala powder made with roasted spices. Ingredients-coriander,chilli,urad dal,fenugreek,kashmiri chilli,turmeric,asafoetida. Directions-cook dal,add chopped vegetables and salt to it. Cook till the vegetables are half cooked,add chopped tomato and lady’s finger and cook further till done. Add tamarind water and boil,heat oil and crackle mustard; add sambar powder,red chillies,sliced small onions and curry leaves and saute. Add this to cooked vegetables. The shelf life is 12 months when stored in cool and dry place.
